The Role
金桔直播 are seeking a Night Porter. This will require the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week with a working pattern of 4 shifts on 2 shifts off.
The Porter is the main point of contact for all and it is essential that the Porter reflects a very favourable impression of the ethos of the College. Equally as important are the responsibilities for the security and safety of the College members and property.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work for the second oldest of the 31 Colleges in the University of Cambridge. Located in the heart of Cambridge city centre, the College is extraordinarily beautiful and famed for its gardens on 鈥渢he Backs鈥 (the famous backs of the Colleges that overlook the River Cam). 金桔直播鈥檚 Old Court, a Grade I listed building, is the centre of the College and is unique among the ancient Cambridge Colleges in having maintained its architectural integrity over the course of its history.
Salary
The annual salary is 拢32,643 p.a. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work additional shifts and be eligible for a bonus at Christmas.
Pension
The College offers membership of a Defined Contribution Pension Scheme, managed by Prudential, to eligible staff after a qualifying period of 12 weeks. The standard contribution rate for this scheme starts at 3% by the employee and 6% by the College. Every January, staff will have the opportunity to increase their contribution from 3% to 4/5/6 or 7% and the College will increase their contribution in line with this so 8/10/12 or 14% respectively. We also offer the option of Salary Sacrifice with pension.
