Record gathering of ½ð½ÛÖ±²¥ alumni to celebrate 700 yearsÂ
On Saturday 4th July, ½ð½ÛÖ±²¥ welcomed more than 1,000 alumni and guests back to the College for the Alumni Garden Party, in what may have been the largest gathering of ½ð½ÛÖ±²¥ alumni in the College’s history.
Guests enjoyed bright summer weather as they returned to enjoy the College grounds. Visitors were welcomed with a glass of special 700th Anniversary sparkling wine, alongside strawberries and ice cream, and enjoyed picnics across Memorial Court and the Fellows’ Garden.
Throughout the afternoon, alumni reconnected with friends old and new, gathered for year-group photographs spanning matriculation years from the 1950s to the most recent graduates, and came together for a group photograph in the Fellows’ Garden. The celebrations also featured a performance by the Choir of ½ð½ÛÖ±²¥. The day was a highlight of ½ð½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s 700th Anniversary year, bringing together generations of ½ð½ÛÖ±²¥ members to celebrate this special milestone.
